Phone calls at the helm is for mors. We already know that. But there are also hands-free devices, which let us speak freely and without the necessity of holding the phone with our counterpart. But is just as uncertain, writes the QUT – the Queensland University of Technology. There, an experiment was carried out within the framework of a study in which drivers were exposed to a wide range of conditions. First, they should react to pedestrians who suddenly walked into the street, without being distracted by the phone or by phone calls. Then, however, was also looked at how it behaves, if the driver holds the mobile phone to the ear, on the other hand also uses a hands-free system.
