Subscription service InkyPen for comic books comes

to Nintendo Switch

InkyPen, a new subscription service for comic books, is coming to the Nintendo Switch in November. Users pay eight euros per month and get access to ‘thousands of comics’ via an app.

The service includes Star Wars, Transformers, Judge Dredd, Dungeons and Dragons and Warhammer comics. There are also comics based on games such as Dark Souls, Disnohored, Assassin’s Creed and Sonic the Hedgehog.

InkyPen is a new subscription service and will only be available via the Nintendo Switch for the time being. The service was set up by a Norwegian company. A press kit on the company’s website states that more than ten thousand comics can be read and that the range also includes manga.

InkyPen appears as an app on the Nintendo Switch via the eShop. There are few apps available for the Nintendo console. For example, there is no Netflix application available. In the US there is an app for streaming service Hulu, but that is not available in the Benelux.
