Sunset Overdrive Preview – Colorful action game full of wacky rig blast
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and The Witcher 3 won my E3, so simple that I can write it down. The only disadvantage: both games were not playable at E3. The annual game show in Los Angeles does include hands-on, but certainly some of the more popular games and the just-announced projects, you do not quickly get a controller in your hands. That makes it extra nice that there are always exceptions to the rule, and this year we took a lot of pleasure from one of those exceptions. Sunset Overdrive would namely just the best game of E3 can be.
Because what happens when you give Insomniac Games carte blanche to come up with a game? And you give the studio while the power of the latest console, in the form of Xbox One? Then you get a crazy, colorful creation that is full of action-packed gameplay. It starts with the setting for the game. Sunset City has fallen prey to a zombie / mutant outbreak caused because FizzCo, a manufacturer of energy drinks, something has gone wrong in his new formula too far. The Overcharge Delirium XT drinks change the drinkers exper
an on-like zombies mutants. On the player, an employee of FizzCO the honor to deal with these zombies, and the overarching problem to solve in short order.
That’s easier said than done, of course. The world is filled with all different types of mutations, which in many places in Sunset City stop. So we saw gameplay passing in a large industrial building, on rooftops and in an amusement park. Although we still found ourselves emotionally in an enclosed area, Sunset Overdrive is a open-world game, so players can decide where they go.Viewing:-137
