Super Smash Bros. 3DS will support Amiibo after update




Nintendo plans to the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. to provide Amiibo support. The required update appears from Tuesday for owners of the handheld. Amiibo are puppets which exposures can be stored in games.

The arrival of the Amiibo support was reported by Nintendo Life, that the information from a spokesman for Nintendo. From Tuesday to appear an update for Super Smash Bros. 3DS that brings compatibility with the playing dolls. The connection is then made via the short-range technology NFC.

Incidentally, other than the new Nintendo 3DS handheld devices need an adapter to connect to Amiibo. That adapter is probably this year, but there is no release date announced.

Amiibo dolls by Nintendo last year launched the Wii U. As yet there is only limited support for: few games support the puppets. With Amiibo it is possible to save progress ingame on the doll.
