Survey: two-thirds users posted last time any updates on Facebook

About two-thirds of Facebook users posted in a month no status updates on Facebook. That says GlobalWebIndex based on its own survey. Last year it was half of the Facebook members only ‘sucked’.

Approximately 65 users said every day on Facebook and get 64 percent has printed during the month for which the investigation was on the Like button. Less than 40 percent have shared their own pictures, much less than the 59 percent of users who did a year ago in the same survey.

That is a worrying development for Facebook, claiming the Wall Street Journal. Facebook has himself said in 2009 that a social network that is not enough people post a boring place. It is unknown why fewer status updates or photos are going to post.

The report shows that the Dutch do not spend so much time on social media as respondents in other countries. Dutch come per day to nearly a half hour, Belgians spend on average just a few minutes more. On average across all respondents is that an hour and three quarters and the Philippines spanned the crown with more than 3.5 hours.

GlobalWebIndex interviews people between 15-64 years, but the exact number is not known surveyed. The disadvantage of such research is that it relies on self-reporting, the actual use so can be different to the response respondents to the question.
