Synology DS415play brings to the market




Synology has DS415play-nas marketed. The successor to the DS414play features a dual-core Intel Atom CPU, and would thus have sufficient muscle to transcode. HD video

The specifications of the DS415play were broadly already known; in June showed the Synology NAS at the Computex trade show though to the general public. The Intel Atom CPU is clocked at 1.6 GHz. The CPU is assisted by 1GB of DDR3 memory. The nas four discs can be pinned, good for a maximum supported capacity of 24TB when using 6TB drives. Synology has DS415play equipped with three USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports. There is a Gigabit Ethernet connection is present, but an eSATA connection is missing.
