SysAdminDay sets system for fifteenth time in the sun
It’s the last Friday of July and that means it is SysAdminDay. Tweakers want this moment to pass and to thank all the system administrators worldwide for their hard work. Without them, the internet would be no more than a collection of colored cables.
The SysAdminDay is an annual day to turn. System in the spotlight The day, which is also known as the System Administrator Appreciation Day is not as well known as for example, the National Secretary. SysAdminDay was invented by Ted Kekatos, an American system in 2000. Kekatos was inspired by an advertisement from HP, which a system administrator receives gifts for installing a printer.
