System must cheating PIN smartphones make it harder by using speaker
A South Korean researcher has devised a method to prevent the theft of PIN numbers on smartphones. The user could put unseen erroneous entries in the code by covering the speaker, after which the phone ignores the erroneous entries.
The system must operate with high sounds inaudible to people, says the South Koreanse researcher Mun-Kyu Lee in his paper . The phone’s microphone that sends signals that capture the speaker. If the microphone picks up the signal, it means that the user has put his finger on the speaker.
The phone would then while entering the lock screen input should ignore at times when the user has his finger on the speaker lie. Who’s afraid someone the code on his phone your gaze would occasionally can put his finger on the speaker and insert a random number. If someone actually gaze along the code and theft after trying to enter that code, he has a non-working code from the hands.
The system can have several disadvantages. Firstly, is not in any phone speaker on the back. Some phones have that sit at the bottom of the front and especially the latter causes problems with this system. Moreover, a potential thief can also look when the user moves his finger at the back and there the real PIN to be read.Viewing:-160
