Take-Two has delivered 17 million copies of Red Dead Redemption 2

Take-Two has delivered 17 million copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 since its release on October 26th. The publisher makes this known in his quarterly figures. GTA V has passed the 100 million deliveries.

According to Take-Two, more copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 were delivered after eight days than the first part. That game from 2010 was delivered more than 15 million times. The figures that the publisher gives go to deliveries to stores, not to direct sales to customers. Earlier, Take-Two announced that the opening weekend was good for a turnover of $ 725 million from actual sales. Then the publisher did not mention sales numbers of the game.

In a teleconference about the figures , Take-Two says that more than 100 million copies have been delivered by Grand Theft Auto V. The publisher does not mention an exact figure. In the previous quarter it was clear that the deliveries had almost passed 100 million. GTA V still generates a lot of money for the publisher by selling the game as well as in-game purchases in GTA Online.

Take-Two achieved sales of 492.7 million dollars in the quarter , 11 percent more than the same period last year. These figures cover the period until September 30, so the deliveries of Red Dead Redemption 2 that came out on October 26 are not included yet. In the next quarter, Take-Two expects to raise some 1.4 billion dollars. Last year that was 654 million dollars in the same period.

Income from recurring expenses, ie microtransactions, DLC and other in-game purchases, rose by 12 percent and accounted for 49 percent of total sales in the quarter.
