Tamron announces stabilized 18-200mm super zoom-in
Tamron has a new version of its all-in-one 18-200mm lens delivered, the 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 Di II VC image stabilization. The model is designed for APS-C cameras from Canon, Nikon and Sony. In its class, this is the lightest lens; it weighs only 400 grams.
The Tamron 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 zoom lens follows the XR Di II LD on. The previous model was introduced some ten years ago, but lacks the image stabilization. The design is made so that the whole weighs just as much as its predecessor, with sixteen elements in fourteen groups. In order to prevent chromatic aberration, use is made of an LD lens element. The diaphragm is formed by seven blades. The minimum aperture ranges from f / 22 to f / 40. Also, the autofocus motor should work faster and quieter than its predecessor.
The whole measurement 9.7 centimeters and has a diameter of 7.5 centimeters. The filter size is 62mm. For Sony A-mount is not added to the stabilization objective, since it is built into the camera itself. The Sony version also comes later than the Nikon F and EF-releases, and hot 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 Di II VC without the designation. The whole is not suitable for full-frame cameras.
The Canon and Nikon versions are from August 20 available and have a suggested retail price of 290 euro note.Viewing:-136
