The iPhone does not support 4G + SE. This confirms a teardown of the device, which clearly shows that Apple MSM9625M Qualcomm chip used as a modem. That supports LTE Cat 4 with a maximum download speed of 150Mbit / s.

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus use a Snapdragon X7 modem for 4G and therefore offer maximum download speeds of 300Mbit / s. Because 4g + tires can combine multiple frequencies, the connection is also in daily practice much faster, proved rather a test of Tweakers. The MDM9625M is also present in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in 2014.

SE The iPhone, which Apple last week presented , has the design of the iPhone 5s and 6s many components, such as the Apple A9 soc. Copy Chipworks has a TSMC-soc, which rolled in August or September of last year, the factory belt. Storage from the factory Toshiba is made on a 19nm-process, suggesting that even those manufactured some time ago. Meanwhile, Toshiba is the store on 15nm.

The NFC chip is also the same as in the 6s series, the PN549 of the Dutch manufacturer NXP. Apple uses the NFC chip only for its own payment system Apple Pay. Also, the six-axis sensor is out of the InvenSense-6s, like the audio chips. There is a whole new chip available for power management.
