Techland deletes Dying Light for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

Dying Light is not released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Developer Techland has concluded that the game too much performance required to run on the older consoles. The game appears only before the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

On Facebook the developer explained his choice. Techland says three years working on several features, so Dying Light is ultimately experienced as next-gen. The brackets must, however, provide a certain power to achieve that experience. Thus, the developer claims that are two hundred thousand objects displays about the same time. The latest platforms would be in combination with its own lighting technology already pushed to their limits.

Dying Light would be on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 have been tested, but Techland has come to the conclusion that the older consoles fail when it comes to performance and the company would simply not delivering as much on the graphics and gameplay.

There is therefore decided to drop the older consoles and just continue with the version for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The survival-horror game with day-night cycle in an open world is expected to appear on January 30, 2015.
