Tele2 brings Android version of live TV app




Tele2 has released the Android version of its live TV app. The release follows a month or two after the version for Apple’s iOS. With the app, customers can live on a limited number of mainly Dutch television.

Users can look through the app to NPO 1, 2 and 3, RTL 4, 5, 7 and 8, SBS 6 and 9, Net 5, Veronica, Fox, National Geographic and 24Kitchen evident from the screenshots of the Tele2 Online TV – app in the Play Store. That the Android app appeared, discovered the Dutch Android fansite DroidApp Monday. The Online TV app can also be scrolled through the TV guide.

By offering a tablet and smartphone app for live streaming tv Tele2 relatively late. Competitors such as KPN, UPC and Ziggo offer some time this possibility. Thus they play in the growing need among customers to view television programs not only on television but also on smartphones and tablets. Live TV viewing only on their own Wi-Fi network. An ‘Interactive TV’ subscription is required to use the app.
