Tele2 increases late April abroad bundles in EU
Tele2 offers late April new roaming bundles for use within the European Union. The most expensive bundle costs 10 euros and offers 1GB of data traffic to be used within one month. At present, it costs 7.50 euros for 100MB.
For the same 100MB paying customers from 30 April 2 euros. Tele2 asks for 500MB of 6 euros. The bundles are thirty days. The new bundles are thus considerably larger than the current one. They are useful in the EU, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway.
The introduction of the new bundles coincides with new European regulations for roaming. In the final adjustment before roaming in 2017 virtually abolished, rates go down. However, providers use the minutes and MBs customers from abroad may pick up the bundle. Who 100MB consumed abroad, now pay up to one hundred times 23 cents, which amounts to 23 euros. In the new situation is going to 100MB of data bundle off and the customer pays a maximum of 6 euros.
Tele2 chooses to pick up abroad spent call minutes, SMS and MB’s not the bundles and only calculates the maximum charge of 6 cents per MB and 2 cents per SMS. Outside Europe are per country separate rates.
Previously made KPN and Vodafone already known new tariffs. T-Mobile will likely announce in April the rates.
