Tele2 Netherlands is growing by 22,000 new mobile customers




Tele2 Netherlands has gained in the fourth quarter of 2014 22,000 new customers for a total of 813,000. The growth in the number of customers flattens it. In the market for fixed Internet, the number of customers increased by 1000.

Tele2 At the end of 2013, Tele2 had 694,000 mobile customers in the Netherlands, but that number is in one year rose to 813,000. The growth is leveling off well: the increase of 22,000 in the fourth quarter is the lowest in eighteen months. The number of fixed line customers also decreased, from 107,000 the end of 2013 to 75,000 at the end of last year.

The number of customers for fixed Internet has stabilized at Tele2. After significant declines late 2013 and early this year, Tele2 was 1,000 new customers marked in the fourth quarter of 2014. In total, the provider now 369,000 customers for wired internet. That’s still 5,000 subscribers less than last year.

The quarterly sales of Tele2 Netherlands amounted to 154 million euros and the turnover was 580 million euros. Annual sales thus remained virtually unchanged from a year ago.

Tele2 is collecting mobile customers for its 4G network, with the same start LTE advanced, faster version of LTE. The provider starts with coverage in the triangle from Amsterdam to Rotterdam and Utrecht. After the first cover in a large part of the Randstad realized hopes the provider from March 2016 to provide national coverage.
