Telenet opens third hall for freeroaming-vr in Hasselt

Telenet opens a new virtual reality hall on February 26 in Hasselt, Belgium. After Antwerp and Ghent it is the third location of the provider where enthusiasts can go for a vr experience.

As the location for the new spot for freeroaming VR, Telenet opted for Park H, the former Grenslandhallen in Hasselt, Limburg. There are also the Ethias Arena where concerts and sporting events are held, Expo Hasselt and the amusement park Plopsaland Indoor.

The concept of The Park in Hasselt is the same as that of the other locations. In the hall, players, equipped with VR glasses, toy gun and backpack with sensors, enter a virtual world. You can choose from different VR experiences. In the game The Hallow, the player is catapulted back in time and equipped with a crossbow, dynamite and a shotgun. Other games include Alien Defense and Moonlight Survival, where a group of two to fifteen players must defeat hordes of enemies. The VR experience around De Dag , a TV series of Telenet broadcast in Flanders, will be available in Hasselt from 26 February.

Park H in Hasselt is the third location of The Park that Telenet opens in a thick six months time. In June 2018, the doors of the first virtual reality hall opened in Antwerp; in November the second opening in Dok Noord in Ghent followed . Simultaneously with the opening of the new hall in Hasselt, The Park welcomes its twenty thousandth visitor.
