Tesla wants to create her own music service

It is reported that Tesla, a leading manufacturer of luxury electric cars, wants to set up its own music service, along with electric cars and solar energy products. The company has been in talks with music companies to carry out the task.

Sources in the music industry said the automaker had held talks with all major signs of property licensing for its music service, which is already equipped with a high-tech dashboard and Internet access.

There is no clear vision in the music industry about Tesla’s full ambitions but believes it is interested in offering multiple levels of service, such as providing a web-based radio service similar to Pandora’s.

The most important question seems to be why Tesla did not simply integrate existing services such as Spotify, which has at least 50 million subscribers or Apple Music, which has 27 million subscribers in all its cars from the start, Deal with SpotPay for its cars sold outside the United States.

“We believe it is important to have an exceptional experience in the car so that our customers can listen to the music they want from any source they choose,” said Tesla’s spokesman. “Our goal is simply to maximize the happiness of our customers.”

The luxury electric car manufacturer delivered over 100,000 cars in January and received 400,000 pre-orders for its Model 3 model, which is a key driver for music companies to provide their products to customers.

Elon Mask, the company’s founder and CEO, had previously hinted at Tesla’s last shareholder meeting in early June that the company was exploring music products, saying it was very difficult to find good playlists or matching algorithms for music that wanted customers to They hear it while driving.

The company has confirmed that it is in talks with the Chinese government to open a plant in Shanghai, China’s largest electric vehicle market, to meet the promise of CEO Elon Mask to produce 500,000 cars annually by 2018.
