Michael Lochrane, the head of the test team to developer Chair Entertainment, working on Infinity Blade 3 for the iPhone, according to his resume on LinkedIn. It is the first report of a sequel to the lucrative mobile games from the stable of Unreal Engine creator Epic Games.
That Lochrane and testers of Chair Entertainment already started have gone with Infinity Blade 3 does even suspect that it will not be long before the game comes on the market. Lochrane can be there on LinkedIn but not out. The head of the test team at Chair Entertainment says only that he is working on Infinity Blade for iPhone 3.
It is the first time a concrete indication that pops Chair Entertainment is working on a third game in the Infinity Blade series. The studio also produced the first two parts of the series off. However, there were already hints that pointed to a sequel. In early July reported Chairs community manager Hilary Goldstein in a blog that the studio has something in store on the Infinity Blade universe. The third part will probably be officially announced during the Apple Fall event that this year will be held in early October. Also two predecessors were announced at the annual Apple show. The first Infinity Blade came out in 2010 and successor Infinity Blade II in 2011.
Chair, which is wholly owned by Epic Games, is the Infinity Blade games using the Unreal Engine from Epic. This Chair is working on a sequel, is not surprising. According to Tim Sweeney, founder and director of Epic Games, Infinity Blade is the most profitable game in the portfolio of the studio. With the first two games Epic had a turnover of over 30 million dollars, while the cost of developing the iOS games are low, reported Sweeney in 2012.Viewing:-68
