Text-Quip app now available for Android
Quip, the text app, we already presented here is, as from now on Android version available on Google Play. The app was developed by Bret Taylor, former Facebook CTO and co-founder of FriendFeed, and Kevin Gibbs, founders of Google Suggest and Google App Engine.

Quip is an alternative to text programs and as the presented in August 2013 iOS version was according to statements of the makers quickly became a great success. Whether this is so remains to be seen, I do not know a single contact who uses the service.
According to the developers, the users will especially appreciate the collaboration features, which are used especially on mobile devices for the creation of documents and messages. Quip combines a surface for writing and editing texts with convenient functions for instant messaging and collaboration. The app is suitable for desktop systems as well as for smartphones and tablets.
“Quip 1.0 for Android” is suitable for smartphones and tablets with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and run higher. The app is in
11 languages: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, and more recently in Korean. “Quip for iOS” in the App Store in the version 1.5 available, which was introduced only in the last month.
However, the recently published Android version still seems to have some problems if you want to believe the reviews.
