The Division 2 will most likely get an open beta

The Division 2 is likely to receive an open beta in the short-term, in which anyone interested can become acquainted with Ubisoft’s new game. A presenter who answered questions during a livestream of the closed beta dropped that.

Ubisoft has officially not yet announced an open beta, but a presenter said during a livestream of The Division 2 that for a certain bug in the game ‘a solution comes in the open beta, because it is annoying’.

When the open beta will take place is still unknown, but since the game is released on March 15, it is obvious that the period in which everyone can meet with The Division 2 will follow somewhere at the end of this month or beginning of March.

Meanwhile, the closed beta of The Division 2 is over. That took place from last Thursday to Sunday. Only people who have pre-ordered the game or a number of players who have registered will have access to the closed beta.

The Division 2 is just like its predecessor for Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and the Swedish developer again uses the same Snowdrop Engine. Tweakers recently wrote a preview of the new Ubisoft shooter.
