The most expensive Nokia smartphone from HMD Global is released in the Netherlands

The Nokia 8 Sirocco has been released in the Netherlands. The phone was available on Thursday at webshops. It is the most expensive smartphone from the Finnish HMD Global to date, with a suggested retail price of 749 euros.

The 8 Sirocco is available since Thursday as available at various webshops in the Pricewatch. HMD Global, the manufacturer of Nokia phones, announced the Android One smartphone at the end of February at the Mobile World Congress. It is the first Nokia device from HMD with OLED screen.

The 8 Sirocco takes its name from the 8800 Sirocco of ten years ago, at that time the most expensive telephone in the line-up of the then market leader. Of the models announced on the MWC , HMD has already released a lot, such as the 7 Plus, 6 2018 and 1. Only the 8110, the reissue of an old Nokia model, is not finished yet. The 8 Sirocco is the first HMD telephone with glass housing and without 3.5 mm connection. Tweakers published a preview of the device at the announcement.
