Thecus has announced a new four-bay nas called N4810. It is an extended version of the N2810PRO, which has 2 bays. The maximum storage capacity is 40TB.

The N4810 is equipped with a Celeron N3160 quad-core processor with a speed of 1.6 GHz and a burst speed of 2,24Ghz. This is the same processor that can also be found in the 2810PRO is. The standard memory is 4GB, which may extend to 8GB. Again, no difference with the previous version. According to Thecus is the difference in added c USB port in addition to the existing three USB 3.0 ports. Also, the new NAS features a 92mm fan and it features an LCD that allows basic settings can be adjusted.

Furthermore, the NAS has two Gigabit Ethernet ports, HDMI 1.4b, DisplayPort 1.1a, and a S / PDIF audio connector, which are housed in a housing with dimensions of 192x172x250mm. The system runs on ThecusOS 7.0, which among other things includes a Photo Station and File Center, in addition to the ability to run multiple apps. The system also provides a VPN server, which allows users from outside can access files.

The N4810 is available from this month. A price has not disclosed the Taiwanese company.
