Thecus brings a Linux NAS on the market that features an Intel Celeron N3050 dual-core processor and 2GB DDR3 memory. In the case has room for two 3.5 “-HDD and the device will use the new ThecusOS 7.0.

Thecus N2810 The Celeron CPU of the Braswell generation running at 1.6GHz with burst to 2,16GHz. Users can replace the DDR3 memory and up to 8GB nas places. There are three USB 3.0 and two Gigabit Ethernet ports are provided on the housing. The Thecus offers N2810 an HDMI connector. According to the manufacturer, the nas suited to playback 4K videos and there is support for aes-ni encryption.

If the N2810 comes on the market, it is the first NAS that uses ThecusOS 7.0. Thecus will also release the new operating system for existing nas’en and offers support for apps like Kodi and Plex. Thecus N2810 says from February to deliver worldwide. A euro price is not yet known, but in the US is the suggested $ 319.
