Three people from top Intel goodbye




In an e-mail Intel has announced to employees that people from the top, Kirk Skaugen and Doug Davis, left the company. A few days earlier would Aicha Evans, head of Intel Communication & Devices, the towel already thrown in the ring.

Intel logo Kirk Skaugen was head of Intel’s PC division and consumer products and would leave the company to take the next step in his career. His last day is April 8th. Doug Davis is chief of the Internet-of-things-group within Intel and comes at the end of the year to retire. The e-mail to staff sent Monday by CEO Brian Krzanich and Venkata ‘Murthy’ Renduchintala, president of the IoT Businesses and System Architecture Group.

Davis wants to spend more time with his family, friends and other interests. He joined Intel in 1984. Skaugen came in 1992 at the company. His last position at the Client Computer Group succeeded by Navin Shenoy.

On April 1, reported Bloomberg that Aicha Evans would have handed in her resignation letter. Evans stops after ten years. She was less than a year ago, Chief of Intel’s mobile chip division Communiction & Devices. The chipmaker continues to record good results in that market, although not yet published the exact reason for her departure.
