In the digital age, and in a world in which people used to capture hundreds of pictures using their smartphones, many might wonder about the feasibility of photo printing. Are there still images printed in this age?

Well, these questions may be a bit logical, but in fact, printing pictures even in the digital age is an exercise that more people should do.

Let’s review 3 reasons why we print images in the digital age:
Avoid the risk of losing digital images

A large majority of the images and files we now have are stored on computers or smartphones or uploaded to cloud storage services, unlike the ones we directly share on social applications such as Facebook, Instagram or other applications.

But it’s so easy to take, store and share photos that make us rely heavily on these applications and services to keep our precious memories alive.

The problem here is that there is no guarantee that your images will not be lost on different applications and platforms and that your memorable moments will be lost for years.

However, the Internet is not our only problem. Computers, smart phones and external storage discs are also vulnerable to damage or sudden damage to data loss.

So it can not, at least for a large segment of users, be digital files including 100% secure images on the web or on our devices.

Avoid the digital cemetery

With the continued development of smart phone cameras, it is very easy to take pictures these days, but it is possible to capture hundreds of images per day, unlike the time of photography, where we choose the perfect shot or else we will lose that moment forever.

But what happens next? What happens after capturing this huge amount of images? You will actually look at these pictures again, you probably will not do so at all, because all these images will go to the digital cemetery.

To be honest with ourselves, we have a lot of images stored on our devices without having to bother to look at them even once after picking them up.

Even if you decide to take a look at these pictures, you will find a huge and scattered library and just thinking of watching them will cause you fatigue.

So these images, which occupy a huge storage space on our devices, is nothing but a digital graveyard that is not seen at all.

Attendance in the real world

Photo printing gives life and attendance in the real world, it is difficult to ignore a picture when it is installed on a wall of the house or put it on your own desk.

We can see the memory stored in these printed photographs. In these images we can get a daily dose of inspiration. Nothing is more effective than seeing a smile on the faces of our loved ones or looking at a picture that brings back a memory full of inspiration and love.

Finally, the need to print pictures does not mean that we print all of our pictures, but only those pictures that we want to preserve and enjoy for a long time.
