Tokina comes early 2017 with a manual 20mm f / 2.0 lens with FE mount




Tokina has announced its 20mm f / 2.0 lens with manual focus cameras from Sony A7 series. The wide angle lens is the first in a new series which will be named FIrIn. In the first quarter of 2017 through the lens on the market.

Firin the Tokina 20mm f / 2.0 has no autofocus, but an electronic lens mount. This makes it possible to give information on focus length and aperture by the camera. This can be used to display a confirmation in the viewfinder or on the LCD as the designated subject is in focus. Also, the lens works in conjunction with the five-axis stabilization of the Sony cameras dispose of them.

Tokina provides for the 20mm f / 2.0 from a Sony E-mount and the lens can also be used on Sony FE-cameras with a full frame sensor. A suggested retail price has not been disclosed yet.
