The officers of The Division, where the player is one of them, working in large and smaller missions hard to restore order. The game allows players to freely engage in cooperative or single player gameplay, where the level of difficulty adapts to the number of players. How much pressure can be on a game? French publisher Ubisoft saw the last years trip so many titles that are suddenly very much depends on how Tom Clancy’s The Division does. After all Assassin’s Creed appeared so milked that the message that this year may be no new game coming was welcomed, Far Cry Primal above showed a repetition exercise and Watchdogs the debacle came around the false promises made in the audiovisual sector is not really over. When all evil tongues claimed that The Division would surely suffer the same fate. A rousing presentation, beautiful images in movies, but a downright disappointing product; that’s what would lie ahead. In this respect, the global fine for Ubisoft and gamers that this is absolutely not the case.

The Division is good, so much clarity we can already provide. The game has many strengths, but in the current era is the very fact that the game is stabilized, the servers hardly cures exhibit and there are to be found just weird bugs and glitches, a victory in itself. That performance does not fall from the sky. It is sometimes frustrating when a game is repeatedly postponed, but the game The Division now shows that Ubisoft was right by Ubisoft Massive, Red Storm Entertainment, Ubisoft Reflections and Ubisoft Annecy to allow more time for this massively multiplayer online third-person role-playing shooter – or something along those lines.

Because yes, how do you catch The Division in one term, one genre? The game has the basic bit like Destiny. That play your part in single player experience and some with other players there. But destiny is much more than a pure shooter The Division, which has more RPG elements from stable. Also, the role of other players in your game very different than in Destiny. If you walk around in the “normal” game world and not already in a co-operative group, you do not see any other players. You’ll be alone against the Safe Houses acting as a hub, or in the Dark Zone. That area is the only place where you player-versus-player action takes place in The Division, and so you see there indeed walk around other players. They are important – it, of course we pay attention later in this review yet – but you aim your weapon at The Division often on AI foes than other players. Indeed, who does not want, basically never need to shoot at other players.

On AI enemies all the more so, and that has everything to do with your role as a member of an elite unit called ‘The Division’. What does the case: New York has been ruined by the outbreak of a virus that has made the vast majority of the population victimized. The streets were then taken over by groups of criminals and the ‘cleaners’ whose task is to prevent the spread of the virus by burning the entire city. Both groups carry out determined to restore order and civilization in New York, and that is precisely the task that has been given The Division.

The game quickly reveals that there is more to it than simply sweep all the bad guys off the streets. Once you create a character and have gone through the tutorial in Brooklyn, you need to create a “base of operations” in Manhattan. Which base consists of three branches: Security, Medical and Tech. Each branch provides missions, each affects the gameplay, but each also ensures the development of a part of the story of The Division. This story tells how members of The Division slowly restore order in Manhattan, basic weather cranking as water and electricity, and more and learn more about the outbreak of the virus and how the virus is possible to stop off. In short, there is plenty to do in almost post-apocalyptic Manhattan looking for The Division.
