Topman Destiny team leaves Bungie




Joseph States, the writer and design director of Bungie’s Destiny, will leave the company after 15 years. He was the creative lead of the Halo team and has spent the past four years to Destiny, the online shooter that Bungie hopes to complete. Off next year

States announced his retirement in a letter on the website from Bungie. In it he states that he enters into a new challenge, all States reported not what the challenge is. States has worked on Destiny ‘with pleasure’ the past four years and he is cheering with the rest of the team ‘in 2014 when the game comes on the market. States was the author of the Destiny team and was known as design director. He had a similar function in the Halo games that Bungie has made. There he was as a writer and creative lead responsible for the storyline of the series. States also was already involved in Myth, the strategy game from 1997.

States that Bungie leave now, suggests that the story of the online shooter is fixed and that Bungie the final phase of the project has begun. The question, however, has worked. States far ahead The existence of the online shooter leaked out when the contract between Bungie and Activision became public through a lawsuit. It speaks of a series of four games, which should come. 2020 on the market However, Bungie and Activision and talk since the official announcement early this year only on the first part of the series. What is the status of the other three parts, is unknown. The first part will appear next year for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
