Toshiba introduces 2-in-1 laptop for business use




Toshiba has announced a new 2-in-1 laptop for the Dutch market. The device includes a 12.5 “screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Portege Z20t is available from January and the retail price of 1450 euros.

The Portégé Z20t leans on an Intel Core M processor with 8GB lpddr3 memory and the maximum storage capacity of the SSD is 256GB. The system runs on Windows 8.1 Pro and is therefore aimed at the business market.

The IPS screen with diagonal of 12.5 inches with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. On the front is a webcam that can shoot images in 1080p and on the back is a 5 megapixel camera with capacity available. The Portégé Z20t has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet and optional 3G / 4G module. That version, however, only in February on the market. Optionally, there is also support for Wacom digitizer.

The laptop variant has an HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, and a Kensington lock port. In laptop mode, the device can be used reportedly 16 hours for this weather to the charger. Dimensions are in that position 309x215x21mm and weight is 1.59 kg. The tablet part of the Portege Z20t has access to micro-HDMI, micro-USB, micro-SD slot and a combined audio jack. The dimensions of the tablet are 309x199x8,8mm-section at a weight of 799 grams.

The unit’s retail price is 1450 euros. The Portégé Z20t should be in stores from January 2015.
