Toyota has added a car wireless charging smartphone December 20, 2012

Technology transfer of energy by electromagnetic induction has long been adopted by manufacturers, but in spite of this, its development has been slow. Toyota, wanting to get ahead of other companies, announced a car Toyota Avalon 2013, that supports induction charging smartphones.

Option Qi is part of the technology package Avalon Limited 2013 or Hybrid Limited. Its cost – $ 1,750. Fully loaded car, which will cost more than $ 40,000 dollars, includes adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance and automatic switch-beam headlamps.

Unfortunately, to date, smartphones with support for Qi can be counted on one hand. Among them, models such as the HTC DROID DNA, LG Nexus 4, HTC Windows Phone 8X and Nokia Lumia 920.
