TP Vision announces Philips TV “powered by” Android to

TP Vision is the company that has emerged from the TV division of Philips. Now announces new Philips TV “powered by” Android to. The first Philips TV with Android will be available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in the second quarter of 2014. This one is, however, only once on the more expensive units – or as you would call “top product segment.” Philips still relies on the dual solution, it offers its own app offer paired with apps from the Google Play Store.


Philips wants to turn the TV sets in large-scale gaming systems here in their own words, people are jumping on quad-core Pozessoren in the devices. Precise technical details are not not called Philips, also the added value you want that. My opinion: it does not help to bring the savior Android to any device if it does not ensure that the platform then also a real added value is offered. Android or not – If the option is absent, as intuitively interact with the system, the system comes with the customer to no good.
