Tweakers Developer Summit 2016: Call for papers
Been four years since we organized the first Tweakers Developers Summit, an event for developers to listen to interesting talks and deal with each other in discussion. The sequel has been a long time coming, but finally will later this year. Where our first edition, the focus was on user interfaces, this time we look to the future of web development under the name ‘web development – the next generation’.
We have deliberately chosen a broad topic because this Summit launched a lot bigger than the first in 2011. The daily program of the Summit focuses on inspiring and sharing of knowledge and the theme that we have chosen is room for different subtopics and various angles. So it may be about continuous delivery or the future of PHP, ASP or NodeJS. But also language agnostic stories are welcome, we are open everywhere.
As befits a modern event, the day will end with a social, that is as legendary as the talks during the day.
We are already in contact with a number of interesting people from the field, but to ensure that we can present the best possible program, we ask you to input. Are you, or do you know someone who has to tell an inspirational and profound story, carried out an appropriate examination or a compelling case can and want to present? Send over your presentation proposal and you might inspire some 300 developers during Tweakers Developers Summit.
Applications can be submitted until May 27th. For normal talks we aim for 45 to 60 minutes and we pull for keynote presentations at levels of 75 minutes. In the summer we hope to have more information to share with you about the date, program and ticket sales.
