Tweakers is looking for an intern for the Non-Spot & Concepts department
For our department Non-Spot & Concepts we are looking for an intern project, a real go-getter who can help us in the realization of beautiful campaigns with advertisers. Team Non-Spot & Concepts is mainly concerned with the conception and realization of creative campaigns for advertisers Tweakers. In practice it means that basically all commercial campaigns that do not revolve around traditional banners. Think of the Tweakers Express, the photographic event with Samsung, the Java Academy with Capgemini and board games evening with CGI. We are looking for someone who is independently organized and operates, and ensures that our customers feel satisfied look back on a collaboration with Tweakers.
In a nutshell
You will assist in the realization of creative campaigns with nice advertisers for the best website in the Netherlands.
What does that mean?
Supporting the project managers in the realization of all projects;
clients with valuable insights into campaigns;
customers from start to finish assisting at events;
ensure the flawlessly video productions;
help in finding the right partners in many fields, such as copywriters, video productions, suppliers of goodies and printing, designers, web developers, and so on;
working with our graphic designers to get the best design of all elements of a campaign;
support the team by holding monthly reports up-to-date;
and then we forget probably a hundred other things.
How does your day look up to?
You take the ferry to the NDSM wharf, Sonja says goodbye at reception and takes the elevator to the seventh. Once your computer is started and the latest episode of your favorite series is discussed with the team, start your day with matching catering for an event that takes place in the office at the end of the day. If that is regularly pick up the phone to call after tenders. After this you ask for some colleagues the results of yet another campaign, processes them into a nice document and ensures that the customer receives it on time. After lunch, call you a bit with the video production company that is going to make a bold aftermovie of the event later in the day.
If the planning is coordinated, start with the preparation of the event itself. You arrange the proper name badges and guest lists, takes care of the decoration of the rooms and take with Maartje project manager and community manager Frederik roadmap through again. If you have been working quickly, you have time to play one (or two) pots Mario Kart with your colleagues. At 17:00 is your first welcome visitors and the rest of the evening, you make the event a great success. All visitors have a nice evening thanks to you and the customer is more than happy!
Tweakers Concepts consists of two disciplines work closely together: concept development and project management. Supported by some graphic designers, this has resulted in recent years quite some beautiful campaigns. What we’ve done recorded history, you see among others here and here.
You follow a bachelor’s degree in the direction of communication, advertising and commerce.
You have affinity with technology, electronics and gadgets.
You want to gain experience in a broad media company.
You have four to six months for job training (small assignment is possible).
You love to act, and to organize work.
You come out of your nice words on paper and in real life.
You love humor as it can and hard work as it should.
