Twitter adds a camera that can be reached

with a swipe from the timeline
Twitter has added a feature to its app where a camera interface is accessible with a single swipe from the timeline. Other social media apps have had such a function for some time. The function must become available in the coming weeks.

A swipe to the right across the timeline opens a new camera interface, where users can instantly take a photo or video , Twitter explains . In the timeline, photos taken in this way get a different layout, with the tweet in the photo. Twitter will not give them priority if users have an algorithmic timeline.

It is only possible to create new images with the new interface; photos and videos already taken can only be added through the existing window to create tweets. It is also possible to stream live images via the interface.

In addition, this week the beta application from Twitter was released, under the name Twttr. That is a reference to the first name of the social network, even without vowels. According to Techcrunch, that interface has a more chat-like interface for tweets and a different way of showing responses to tweets.
