Twitter adds new smart buttons for direct business messages

Twitter blogging platform has added new smart buttons for direct business messages, enabling developers to use up to three buttons in their clients’ direct messages today, making Twitter’s private chat blogs so similar in form and functionality to applications Other posts are popular.

Buttons can be used to help people make purchases, connect them to websites, add more call-to-action options, or start a brand conversation, and the platform makes their own messages more useful to brands when it comes to customer service and engagement.

The call-to-action buttons have been an indivisible part of the console for years, but the addition of push-to-mail buttons complements the platform by default to any platform that provides chat scripts such as Microsoft, Facebook Messenger and Telegram Messenger, Last year to take many steps to allow developers to create such robots as key guidance tools.

The written chat robots have been developed in private messages since Twitter provided quick responses and welcome messages in November 2016. The chat blog buttons in private messages are generally available to developers using tools such as API.ai, Sproutsocial and Conversocial.

The addition of the buttons comes just weeks after Twitter created a new ad unit that allows companies to add chat experiences with similar buttons in Twitter feeds, and comes after several key announcements regarding the script chat robots for platforms announced in the spring from companies such as Microsoft VICE Facebook, Google and Apple
