Twitter deliberately provides 140 full characters for replies

The micro-blogging platform Twitter announced on Thursday that it will change the way the number of characters in the responses is calculated from today, and that it will not count user account names within the limited 140-character response, allowing the responses to look quite different.

Twitter replies will contain text typed in the tweet, with user names being displayed directly at the top of the reply, instead of starting to display the user names addressed to them. Although tweets are still limited to 140 characters, usernames will not be counted And cut it from the twinkle.

Twitter seems to have finally gotten rid of the annoying tweets that start with the “@” character, so that it has made it easier for her, but the new way of posting may lead to some unwanted complications.

The platform displays the names of user accounts in the responses separately at the top of the response, but this may confuse those users to some extent if there are multiple participants in a single conversation.

This is not the first time that the micro-blogging platform has made such changes. In May, it reviewed and reviewed plans to reduce the limits on the 140-character number and change the format of responses.

The company has since tested a number of different features. “The results of the early tests showed that people are more involved in conversations on Twitter in the new format,” said Sasank Reddy, director of Twitter.

There is no clear information as to why it took nearly a year to initiate this change. The platform had already made other changes during the previous period, such as media attachments that were not counted in the number of allowed characters and the possibility of a user re-twittering.
