Find a Question:
Twitter has also mostly white men employed
Like Google and Facebook show the workforce of Twitter very diverse. Also at the microblogging service work especially white men, according to figures the company has released Wednesday.
The workforce of Twitter is 70 percent of men; the technical features is that even 90 percent. Also, whites are over-represented: 59 percent of employees are white. Asians make 29 percent of the workforce out; three percent Latino and only one percent is black. In managerial positions is even 72 percent white.
The large number of white men at Twitter is not unique for a tech company: Facebook and Google have roughly equal numbers of men in the service, as did those companies in the spring known. Even at those companies nine in ten white or Asian, just like Twitter.
Twitter says it wants a diverse workforce; in their own words, not only because research shows that diverse teams make better decisions, but also because “we want to be a company that we are proud of.” “We still have much work to do,” admits Twitter increasing.Viewing:-156
