Twitter launches service that allows advertisers to target users on television




Twitter announced the launch of a service allowing companies that TV ad campaigns targeting viewers of those ads in tweets on the social networking site.

Twitter said that service allows businesses ad campaigns across TV, complete delivery of advertising messages through the site and to target specific users, after the expiration of the original ad on TV.

Social networking site will provide advertisers with special tools to track advertising campaigns and measure the reactions of users, to determine the success of their campaigns.

Twitter targeted advertisers on television in the United States, and did not specify any information about the plan to launch the service in other countries.
