U.S. government prohibits import ban on iPhones and iPads

The International Trade Commission (ITC) decided a month ago that the devices iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G and the iPad 2 3G, may not be introduced by Apple in the United States . Last veto, the U.S. government, it had 60 days. Now it has been spoken and the import ban is history.

The rationale for lifting the ban is that you would have feared consequences for the U.S. economy and the customer. Would have been affected only the specified models of the devices that have been offered over mobile operator AT & T. Samsung shows naturally disappointed, while Apple only feels confirmed.

“The ITC’s decision did Correctly Recognized Samsung has been negotiating in good faith and did Apple remains unwilling to take a license,” are Smasung in a statement. Apple on the other hand sees the veto signal for Innovation and against the exploitation of patents, “Samsung was wrong to abuse the patent system in this way.” The comment with the glass house and the stones I save at this point.
