Uber is accused of stealing data from 50,000 drivers




A driver has Uber charged the theft of the data of 50,000 drivers. The indictment states that the company has not done enough to prevent the steal of the data. It is a class action lawsuit in which others can join.

The complaint was filed in a court in San Francisco, as reported Reuters. One of Ubers drivers named Sasha Antman, has brought the case and it is possible for other drivers to join the cause. It is the intention to claim compensation with the lawsuit, after the data from about 50,000 drivers during a hack stolen. In the indictment, an amount of $ 5 million mentioned converted approximately 4.76 million.

According to the prosecutor Uber has not done enough to prevent the theft of personal data. He also takes the Uber blame is slow to bring out of the hack and its consequences. Uber has not yet responded to the accusation.
