Uber Uber will be able to check why passengers drivers give low scores after driving and technology can help, the company said. Uber state that they are working on a pilot project in which feedback with smartphone technology verified. “Gyros in phones can measure small movements, while GPS and accelerometers in addition to the speed can show how often a vehicle starts and stops,” says Uber.

In the test went to ex-post controls following complaints from passengers, but Uber will also use the data proactively. “If the data shows that a driver continuously moves his smartphone, we can offer mounts for instance,” said the taxi service. Additionally Uber wants the “enthusiasm” of tempering drivers and it appears that they take a route much faster than average.

The measures must lead to longer term that drivers are better keep to the speed and other traffic regulations.
