Ubisoft confirms work on sequel to Beyond Good & Evil

Ubisoft announced that Ubisoft Montpellier, on the Studio is working on developing a successor to Beyond Good & Evil. Furthermore, the game studio that the original game from October 12 to download free for PC.

The game studio is on his Facebook page announced that we are working on the game with Michel Ancel. Details and data is not shared. Ancel has previously led the development of the original Beyond Good & Evil; He is the creator of the popular Rayman series.

Beyond Good & Evil is an adventure game that was released in 2003. Michel Ancel had initially planned to make a trilogy of the game, but because of the limited success of the game there seemed to be long anything right. However, there is a remake released in 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

In 2008, Ubisoft announced that it was working on a sequel to the game. However, development was slow and in the following years appeared contradictory reports on progress. The message on Facebook that Ubisoft published Thursday, is the first official confirmation from the studio itself there is still actively working on the game.

A day earlier, made the game studio on the same page announced that the original Beyond Good & Evil from October 12 is free to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of Ubisoft.
