Ubuntu tablet convergence is from second quarter sales

Canonical and the Spanish company BQ have the M10 Aquaris Ubuntu Edition tablet officially announced and reported that the tablet from the second quarter of this year for sale via the webshop of BQ. It is the first of a series of converged devices with Ubuntu.

According to Canonical, the tablet, the advent already confirmed was delivered with “the latest version of Ubuntu. The BQ Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition is a 10 “tablet with FullHD resolution, a 64bit MediaTek MT8163 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB flash memory. The tablet is 8.2mm thick and weighs 470 grams with a battery capacity of 7280mAh.

The device, like Ubuntu Phone support for scopes, a kind of home screens for content categories, and apps from the Ubuntu App Store. In addition, a side stage -possibility to show two apps on the screen.

Previously published as the Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition and the Ubuntu Aquaris E5 HD Edition smartphones BQ. Soon there will also be a smartphone with convergence with, promises Canonical.
