The government of the UK has launched a survey to find out how the British people think about strengthening and expanding the enforcement of minimum age of visitors to porn sites. The government may play a greater role in the enforcement.

The measures in the area of minimum maintenance on porn sites was part of the party of the Conservative Party in the country. Nearly two months have residents of the United Kingdom the opportunity to the online survey to fill out and give their opinion on the attitude to be adopted by the UK government on this and in any way possible measures should be put into practice . Pornhub website has been declared told the BBC that it is prepared to meet any potential requirement of the government.

Although a so-called age gate often found on sites with content intended for adults, to circumvent this easy. In the survey, the government with three ideas: a check on possession of a credit card for which the owner 18 or older must have a system that ages checks based on for example the electoral roll and finally a nonspecific check on possession of a account that a user must be 18 years or older. Citizens can also make suggestions for the implementation of the measures.

Apart from the implementation of improved age controls on pornography, the government will also identify how much power government should give themselves in the context of enforcement. Thus, the survey asks visitors whether the enforcement agency should have the power, for example to carry on payment service providers not to stop doing business with offending porn. In addition, it asks whether the enforcement body should be fully part of the government or that it British flag ostensibly civilian regime should be.

The government of the UK interferes with this not for the first time in this kind of business. There is an internet porn filter that some providers already selected by default state. Users can not visit porn sites unless they change the filter settings by logging into their account on the website of the ISP.
