Unity will support New Nintendo 3DS
Unity Technologies has announced that it plans to build in support for the New Nintendo 3DS in its own Unity game engine. Both Nintendo and all four million registered Unity users can thus make games for the handheld from the Japanese company.
Unity Technologies made the step known during Unite 2015, an exhibition organized by the company itself for developers who use the engine. Since the company announced that the Unity engine receives support for this year’s New New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL. That means that anyone who has a license to the engine, games can make for the Nintendo handhelds. According to Unity, there are now four million licenses terminated.
