UPC enables deployment of IPv6




UPC has delayed the deployment of IPv6. The cable company had originally planned to support IPv6 to provide all this year. UPC now dare to call a new date on which the company begins to roll out IPv6.

UPC The cable company says that the introduction of IPv6 has not even planned. “The condition was always and still is that the introduction of IPv6 has no or minimal impact on our customers,” said spokeswoman Ilse de Sain in a statement to Tweakers. “Offering IPv6 is a complex project that is prepared with great care. Only when all tests have been successfully completed and everything is completely ready, the launch will be scheduled.”

UPC dare to call no new date will offer the ipv6 for all customers. The cable company said in September to start quickly with a trial among a small group of customers. Those trials would have been successful, claimed UPC in November.
