UPC is wifi equipped bus shelters




UPC’s five bus shelters in Eindhoven and Hilversum provide wifi. It is a pilot with Wi-Fi access, which smartphone users see content from an advertiser before they can use the internet.

It is an experiment in collaboration with advertising company CBS Outdoor. As smartphone users log on to the Wi-Fi network, they get to the landing page first to see, after which they can use the internet freely.
