US judge: Google may compile search results themselves
The composition of the Google search results is covered by the freedom of expression. Which held a US court. A website claiming to be penalized by Google with a low position in the search results.
google The website, Coast News, claimed that Google’s website posted lower because the website could possibly compete with the search engine. The website additionally noted that competitors Bing and Yahoo would place the website higher in search results.
Google signed immediately objected to the lawsuit brought by Coast News, based on a California law intended to curb lawsuits that threaten freedom of expression. The judge went along with the objection and ruled that the complaint Coast News was contrary to the “Google of activities that are protected in the constitution.”
The court thus ruled that Google itself may determine how the search results are composing. This differs this court considers the European Court of Justice, which ruled that citizens may object if their opinion outdated or incorrect information can be found through a search engine.Viewing:-157
