According to a US judge has Nvidia infringed three patents owned by Samsung. The verdict Samsung is one step closer to a complete victory in the lawsuit that it brought against Nvidia.

The next step is the control of the ruling by the US International Trade Commission, USITC, as reports Bloomberg. If it is decided that the judge is right, then all devices that patents are violated, be barred from the US market. It is in this case essentially to Nvidia’s Shield tablet.

According to the judge makes Nvidia infringed three US patents, namely 6,173,349, 6,147,385 and 7,804,734. According to Bloomberg is one of the patents a year off, just after a ban could be introduced on imports of Nvidia products. It is likely to patent 6,147,385, a patent on certain type SRAM cell. The other two patents are about a method to have less delay in a bus-system, and data signal buffers and memory systems.

Samsung and Nvidia are already several years at loggerheads over patents. Earlier this month, the USITC had already decided not to re-look at a complaint from Nvidia direction Samsung and Qualcomm. When a judge had decided that Samsung and Qualcomm did not infringe patents Nvidia.
