Users can not log in to Office 365 by failure – update 2




Users complain that they can not log on to Office 365. The fault seems to have started around quarter past ten. Microsoft says no interference with Office 365, but with cloud platform Azure.

Office 365 down The status page of Office 365 does not interfere again, but the page Azure reports have issues. Users complain that they can not log in and the error seems to be particularly common in Europe, including the Benelux.

It is unknown whether it affects all users, but Tweakers received in the last hour an unusually high number of inside tips about the fault. Several IT companies also report the outage on their Twitter account. What causes it and how long will last the problems remains unknown.

Update, 11:50: The problem probably lies with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft’s identity and access management services that include Office 365 but also other services use them. The Azure Active Directory is facing an outage. Microsoft Netherlands could not give any further details about the problem.

Update, 13:00: “Some customers may not achieve our services through a service incident Our team are working hard to restore access.” Said a Microsoft spokesperson.
